Linux Firewalls

Recent versions of the Linux kernel contain a firewall whose functionality meets or exceeds the capabilities of most commercial firewalls.

This course will teach you how to configure a Linux iptables/netfilter firewall.

Prerequisites

You should have a basic understanding of computers, computer networking, Linux, and IP addressing. ALC's IP, Subnetting, and CIDR course or the equivalent experience is needed. You do not need to have detailed knowledge of firewall concepts beforehand.
